Undergraduates
Newman College experienced an unprecedented number of applications submitted before 31 October 2024. We are no longer taking applications for undergraduates in semester 1, 2025. You are welcome to apply for second semester 2025.
Each year, there are 220 undergraduates in the College. The vast majority are enrolled at the University of Melbourne reading for degrees in Arts, Science, Biomedicine, Commerce, Agriculture, Design, Music or Fine Arts. A small number are enrolled at Monash University (Pharmacy), RMIT University and ACU.
Undergraduates may remain in residence during the mid-year break (June-July) at no extra charge.
