Choir Concert Series 3: The Colour Purple

For the final concert of our 2025 Concert Series, we turn to the colour purple - the colour of royalty, longing and long summer evenings, embracing music such as Bach’s St Matthew Passion, Medieval chant, Advent carols, an iconic anthem by Prince and the musical, The Colour Purple.  We will also be joined by the saxophonist, Lola Schuele, performing a trio of contemporary compositions for the enchanting combination of solo saxophone and a capella choir.

The new twilight time makes the concert the perfect prelude to a dinner or drinks in the Lygon Street precinct.  We hope you can join us!
