University Nationals Division 1
Four students from Newman College represented the University of Melbourne at the National University Games held at the Gold Coast in late September:
- Bonita Rui (Fencing)
- Yu Ron Chan (Swimming)
- Stephanie Hibburt (Swimming)
- Oliver Bestel de Lezongard (Waterpolo)
Bonita finished the games with three gold and one bronze medals.
