Weddings
Catholic weddings of Newman College students, staff or alumni are permitted in the Chapel of the Holy Spirit.
The Archdiocese of Melbourne does not allow christenings or funerals at Newman College Chapels, except for regular attendees at Newman College Masses.
Please read carefully the Terms and Conditions in the Wedding Booklet before contacting the College Office about a possible booking. All initial bookings and inquiries should be directed to the College Office, Monday – Friday, 9 am - 5 pm.
Weddings can be arranged during the following times:
- Saturday: 10.00am, 12.30pm, 3.00pm, 5.30pm;
- Sunday: 12.30pm, 3.00pm;
- Weekdays: by arrangement.
Please note that on some occasions the Chapel is used for different purposes, and therefore it may not necessarily be in the same condition as initially viewed.
Your confirmation acknowledges that you have accepted the Terms and Conditions for celebrations at Newman College as stated in the Wedding Booklet.
